Before your treatment
- Avoid alcoholic beverages 24 hours before your treatment
- Avoid pain killers such as Advil, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, Celebrex, etc. for 7 days
before your treatment. Tylenol is okay. - Avoid blood thinning agents such as Aspirin, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, Garlic,
Fish Oil for 7 days before your treatment - Avoid any other facial treatments such as laser, micro needling, chemical peels, facials.
waxing for 7 days before your treatment - We recommend scheduling your treatment at least 2-4 weeks before any special event
such as a wedding - You must reschedule your appointment if you develop a rash, cold sore, or blemish in
the treatment area 7 days before your appointment
After your treatment
- Do not touch your face for 4 hours
- Do not lie down for 4 hours
- Do not exercise or do any strenuous activities for 24 hours
- Avoid any other facial treatments such as laser, micro needling, chemical peels, facials
for 14 days after your treatment

in order to be prescribed preventative medication - You must reschedule your appointment if you develop a rash, cold sore, or blemish in

After your treatment
- Do not touch your face for 6 hours. After that, you may gently wash your face as
necessary. - Do not exercise or do any strenuous activities for 48 hours
- Avoid excessive alcohol and salt for 48 hours
- Avoid excessive sun or heat for 72 hours
- Sleep with your face up for the first night
- Avoid any other facial treatments such as laser, micro needling, chemical peels, facials
for 14 days after your treatment - Avoid any dental work for 14 days after your treatment
- For mild pain and swelling, apply ice for 15 mins every hour
- For mild pain, use Tylenol. Do not use ASA/Aspirin
- Contact us immediately if you have excessive pain, bruising, swelling, or any skin
discolouration.
